1. Overview of Gunsens

Gunsens is a next-generation safety platform that integrates autonomous AI agents, SOS panic buttons, and live bodycams to detect and respond to gun threats and other emergencies in schools, businesses, and public spaces.

2. Gunsens Alerts

Gun threat and SOS alerts are communicated to the public through the Gunsens App and to first responders via direct integration with the 911 Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, ensuring rapid response and coordination.

Gun threat alerts:

Gun threat alerts are automatically triggered by Gunsens Gun Sensors. These sensors can be purchased and managed through the Settings item on the app’s tab bar.

SOS alerts:

SOS alerts are invaluable in scenarios like a knife attack, where Gun Sensors might not detect the threat.

An SOS alert can be triggered by tapping the SOS panic button in the Gunsens App or clicking the panic button on the Gunsens SOS Remote.

The SOS Remote can activate an SOS alert even if the associated smartphone is unreachable or locked.

Additionally, the SOS Remote can automatically send a push notification to previously designated Emergency Contacts if it detects inactivity for a user-defined period of time, indicating potential unresponsiveness.

SOS Remotes can be purchased and managed through the Settings item on the app’s tab bar.

3. Alert Management
The Gunsens App features two tiers of tab bars for handling alerts. The primary
Alert Tab Bar provides an overview of active and inactive alerts. When a specific alert is selected, the secondary Location Tab Bar appears, offering detailed options and actions related to that alert.

Using The Alert Tab Bar:

Upon opening the Gunsens App, users are directed to the Map screen, which displays active threat alerts and provides access to the Alert Tab Bar for managing these alerts.

Yellow indicators represent gun threats, while red indicators represent SOS alerts. To view details, tap on a threat notification or one of the alert indicators on the map.

The History screen shows all alerts in chronological order. Active alerts are marked with yellow and red indicators, while inactive alerts are shown in black and white. Alerts automatically deactivate after 24 hours.

To filter which threat alerts you see, tap the Settings item on the tab bar and select the Alert Filters item. For example, you can filter to see only alerts within a 25-mile radius of your current location.

Using The Location Tab Bar:

When an alert is selected, either from the History screen or the Map, the app navigates to the Details screen, where the Location Tab Bar provides tools for managing tasks related to that specific location.

If a Gun Sensor triggered the alert, the Details screen displays a floor plan showing the exact location of the threat, including the floor number.

If the alert was triggered by the SOS Remote, the Details screen shows the member's photo, location, and contact information.

Anyone can tap the Text Emergency Contacts button to notify previously designated familly members and friends of the threatened person about the emergency. Only one text message will be sent.

4. Adding Gun Sensors

You can add Gun Sensors to your account in four simple steps: (1) add a location, (2) upload a floor plan, (3) scan the sensor’s QR code, and (4) position the Gun Sensor on the floor plan.

Your account can include multiple locations and each location can have several floor plans. You can add multiple Gun Sensors to each floor plan.

5. Inviting Members to Your Gunsens Account

The Gunsens App is designed to effectively manage and respond to threat alerts by using a structured membership system. Different users play different roles in ensuring safety, from receiving notifications to managing alerts, Gun Sensors and SOS Remotes.

To handle these varying responsibilities, Gunsens accounts are divided into three membership tiers: Owners, Admins, and Viewers. This hierarchy ensures that every user has appropriate access and control, enhancing the app’s functionality in complex environments like schools, businesses, and public spaces.

For instance, a school can purchase Gunsens SOS Remotes for all of its students. The school then invites the students to join its Gunsens account as Viewers. Once students install their SOS Remotes, the school is automatically billed for their monthly monitoring subscriptions.
